The downside with padding your writing with key phrases is that it sounds unnatural. Too unnatural, if someone needs to cease reading every 5 seconds while reading your article, then you have a big problem. Let’s do not forget that, in the long run, all content is generated for the end user, not for a robot. I feel that if more folks thought of this fact more often (including myself) the world of the web probably wouldn’t be so cluttered.
If you’re writing some SEO copy you then need somebody to be able to read that material (obliviously). If you’re stuffing 15 keywords in a 100 word write up, then you are going to have problems. It’s important to be sensible about what your writing and you have to make it useable for the end user.
