Articles, blogs, videos, emails, or other methods are commonly used to promote a product or service. Obviously, the objective is to have those methods create a demand for that product of service. When it comes to network marketing, understanding how to effectively convey the value of the product of service is critical to your success. Use these steps to promote your business opportunity, product, or service.
* Initially, give a positive remark regarding your product, service, or business opportunity.
* Then, speak about a negative aspect (I will give an example of how to do this below)
* After that, talk about a benefit that the product, service, or business opportunity will give to your potential prospect.
* Lastly, speak about something negative that your potential customer could experience if they do not purchase your product or join your opportunity.
Here is an example of how you would use this strategy to build an affective sales presentation. Just for the sake of example, suppose that you are a network marketer and marketing a (completely fictitious) suntan lotion called “Suni 5000”. Here is an example of how you may market your business opportunity:
Initially, talk about a benefit of the business opportunity: “The Suni 5000 company has one of most lucrative compensation plans for its distributors”.
Then, mention a “negative aspect” of the opportunity. Don’t misunderstand me, by this I mean a challenge that your prospect will have to overcome by the prospect, not an issue with the actual opportunity. For example, “Gaining the proper marketing skills to generate consistent leads will be crucial to your growth in the company”.
Next, talk about a benefit that prospect will experience by being a part of the business: “I can guarantee you that I will personally show you how to generate leads that will allow you to earn as much money as you want using this business opportunity as your vehicle”.
Most importantly, end the presentation by mentioning the adverse results that your prospect may face if she decides to not take advantage of the opportunity that you are offering: “If you do not learn how to generate leads for your business, it will always be a challenge for you to profit in the long run.”
These steps can be used to market opportunities, products, or services. The basic idea is the same, and once you master the formula, you will be able to apply it to anything that you are marketing. The key is to go to action and apply it. I’ve always said that the best way to learn is by doing.
