You can do practically anything with PLR (private label rights) products. You can edit, rebrand, rename, sell or give them away as your own, bundle them with other products… in short, just about anything goes. You are utterly safe with Unrestricted PLR, but if your license says PLR (minus the unrestricted) be sure to read it carefully for limitations. Having said that, here are four great tactics for employing PLR in your IM business that I learned from Jason Fladlein.
Tactic to create an awesome PLR autoresponder e-course that will excite your subscribers and new opt-ins alike.
Cut a brief, 7 to 10 page, PLR ebook into 200 – 400 word emails and stock up your autoresponder. If your PLR content is well written, all you need to do is copy and paste. If the content needs some editing, brush it up and/or expand it. What could be simpler?
Mete out the information once a week, 3 times weekly, as you feel is appropriate. At the end of each post, add a call to action, something on the order of,” If you want more complete information on (your ebook topic), Click Here.” Your link might open to another digital product you’ve put together, a free gift, an affiliate product you’re selling, or whatever your call to action might be.
Tip: For new prospects, free bonuses are great to add into the mix, particularly during the first 7 messages. New contacts need time to get to trust you and are not likely to buy until the seventh contact.
Tactic to sell a PLR ebook employing PLR Autoresponders
To sell a hefty 70, or more, page ebook, give away the first few chapters or sections. Your upsell is the whole PLR ebookHere’s how: Cut up the first chapters into a succession of 15, 200 – 400 word autoresponders With 3 posts weekly, this gives you 5 weeks to build trust with your subscriber. Remember most individuals won’t buy until the 7th autoresponder So, after every email say “If you would like to purchase the entire ebook….” or, “If you would really like to learn these strategies, Click Here.”
Another approach to use after your first post is to inform your subscriber, “This is only the first section of the ebook… If you would like the complete text, Click Here.” And your subscriber arrives at your sales page. Yet another approach: “If you appreciate this segment then you will really value the complete chapter. For the entire text, Click Here.”
In your next post, when you give away another part of the chapter, say, “If you like this post, it’s a continuation of the first chapter and you can purchase the entire ebook by Clicking Here.”
Keep meting out the beginning sections. When you hit them with the last section of the first chapter, add this call to action, “This was the first chapter of…. If you would like every chapter, Click here!”
As you are alloting the segments of the beginning chapters, someone might think, “You know, this looks interesting. I’m going to buy it.” This happens because your subscriber has seen it several times, you are becoming more familiar to them, and trust has begun to grow. When a prospect first subscribes to your list, the chance of a purchase is not high, but after some exposure your chances improve.
Method to emply PLR autoresponders to sell an audio and/or video you’ve just created with the very same PLR ebook.
Break up the complete PLR text you’ve used for the audio or video. Take all the content and make it your email course. Your upsell will be the video and/or audio you created from the PLR ebook or you might package all three: the entire ebook, the audio and the video.
Now, a 70 page text could be segmented into 30 – 40 autoresponders. At the end of each message, ask something like, “Would you like to watch me show you exactly how to do this in a video? or “Would you like to actually observe this and much more demonstrated in a video? Then Click Here!” Your call to action at the end of each email is to buy your video. Or, you might want to combine your video with your ebook and an audio of you reading your ebook. Each could be priced separately with discounted combos.
Use the PLR content to drip post after post until your prospects purchase You could even create an entire year of weekly posts, 52 emails, telling your subscribers they could get the whole ball of wax if they just Click Here.
Trick for the PLR autoresponder edge if you sell PLR products as part of your IM business. For this you’ll need two ebooks.
Buy an additional PLR which is related to the one you have for sale. Break the entire ebook down into an autoresponder series and offer it as a bonus to the PLR you have for resale.you are sellling. For example, if your resale offer is a guide for an eat-and-grow-thin weight loss program, you would pick up a related PLR on “The Best Foods to Eat at Your Favorite Fast Food Eateries to Become a Lean, Mean Eating Machine,” Divy up the “favorite fast food eateries” PLR into an autoresponder series and include it as a bonus to your PLR resale package. So your reseller gets not only your eat-and-grow-thin weight loss PLR to sell, but to help your reseller sell his main purchase, he also gets a bonus autoresponder series on ”becoming a lean, mean eating machine while munching at his favorite eateries.”
